Traffic Instructions for Edgefield Residents
Pre-Game and During Game Instructions

Residents wishing to access I-24 east may use Shelby Avenue or
Spring Street – Turns from James Robertson Parkway to Interstate
Drive will be restricted based on the traffic flow and may not
be allowed.

Residents wishing to access I-24 west may use Shelby Avenue or Woodland Street.

To travel to or from the downtown area, residents may use
Shelby Avenue,
James Robertson Parkway,
or
Jefferson Street
-
Residents wishing to travel to the
Broadway/Church Street
areas from
James Robertson Parkway
should use
4th Avenue as
turns to
3rd Avenue
southbound are prohibited

4th Quarter and Post-Game Instructions
At the beginning of the 4th quarter which is usually around 2:00 pm
the following guidelines will apply:

Shelby Avenue
will be closed between
5th Street
and 1st Avenue

There will be no turns allowed to Interstate Drive
from James
Robertson Parkway

Residents wishing to access I-24 west may use Woodland Street or
Spring Street
-
Residents wishing to travel I-24 east may use Spring Street or
may utilize the interstate loop – They would enter I-24 west
from either Woodland Street or Spring Street and travel to I-65
south to I-40 east to I-24 east
-
No left turns are allowed to 3rd Avenue from James Robertson Parkway
– Residents
should use 4th
Avenue to access the Broadway/Church Street areas

To access East Nashville from downtown use either the
James Robertson Parkway
or Jefferson Street Bridges
